As Socrates makes clear in Xenophon’s Symposium, he “does not remember a moment of his life during which he was not in love.” This site is thus my take on the loves of my life. The music, the photos, the videos, the events, the reflections and my friends that shape, craft, sculpt, and further refine my loving. Welcome to this Symposium. During Socrates’ time, a symposium is Greek for a ‘drinking party’ with friends and acquaintances. If you’re going to discuss matters of the heart in ways that bear fruit, you should not seek a sterile environment or merely intellectualize. That environment to me is a coffee shop, where warmth is not just from the drink, but from one’s real friends.   | Notes | |

- Star Records apologizes 2 Jesuit Music Ministry 4 not acknowledging us in Cory funeral DVD; after we waived 100% royalties.
- watching the TV series, "Big Bang Theory" Season 1. Hilariously geeky. Hope it coax out insights for a Christ the King article.
- "Fulfill the good works you have begun in us, Lord." -- This morning's breviary. This jump started my day, with the assistance of coffee.
- Sign in a bank: "Don't kiss our girls. They're tellers!"
- Heavy rains dampen Ateneo, but not my spirit. I love the rain, but not when I'm out.

Thanks everyone! I miss UP too. Even Ateneo isn't as exciting as UP, and I find more people sincerely searching for meaning. We have been busy with relief work, and will end this day at the Ateneo Covered Courts. We've began relief operations right away, by Sunday lunch time, relief operations were conducted at the college grounds, then transfered to a bigger venue as the covered courts. We had an overflowing number of volunteers. |
